TRIP DETAILS
Raft the entire 21 miles stretch of the South Fork American River, from Chili Bar to Folsom Lake, for an unforgettable whitewater rafting experience. Tons of class III action! This one-day trip starts early and is recommended for those who want the maximum amount of class III thrills in a single trip. The longest single day trip offered in California!
The adventure begins with a scenic shuttle ride to our launching point. Here you will meet your guides, receive the safety talk and paddling instructions before the journey begins. On the river you will encounter many great rapids such as Meat Grinder, Maya, Triple Threat, and Troublemaker. We serve a delicious deli-style lunch buffet half way through the day. After lunch the rafting adventure continues highlighted by spectacular scenery and more exciting rapids such as Fowler’s Rock, Satan’s Cesspool, Bouncing Rock, and Hospital Bar, just to name a few. Our 21-mile-long journey ends at Folsom Lake. Relax on the scenic shuttle ride back to your cars where we arrive at approximately 4:30-5:00 PM. Please be aware that a variety of factors may cause a trip to end earlier or later than planned. Take this into consideration when making your travel plans.
