TRIP DETAILS

Experiencing the South Fork at Springtime river flows will wet your appetite for the advanced Class IV-V North Fork to follow the next day. Start your trip with a night of camping and waking up to a hearty hot breakfast before your first day of rafting. Fine tune your rafting skills on the Gorge Section of the South Fork American River where you will get the chance to run exciting rapids such as Satan’s Cesspool and Hospital Bar after a big deli-style river lunch.

After reaching Folsom Lake, you will be shuttled back to the American River Resort for hot showers, a hearty BBQ dinner, and an evening camping in historic gold country. Awake for a hot breakfast before departing camp for an heart pumping day of rafting on the North Fork where you will test your rafting skills on the famous Chamberlain Falls, Bogus Thunder and Staircase Rapids.

*Wet suits are required and will be provided.
